About the Artist
My name is Nadija Szram operating as Artlantia Galleria

On July 4, 2016 I took an online embossing workshop, that led to the birth of my artistic journey. From that day forward, I have embraced the creative process and have become immersed in it full time, painting abstracts and accepting commissions in portraits.

I get excited by blank canvasses and paint. Paint is a luscious, creamy, inviting medium and colors capture your attention by their versatility, their tones, hues, and sheen. Bold expressive colors play together on the canvas, enhancing each other and inviting the viewer to see what the artist sees. Through my process I aim to bring energy, lightness, unity and cohesiveness to your space as a respite from the outside world.

When I paint, I strive to get my mind out of the way and let the creative flow come through the paint onto the canvas. When this happens, there is a spontaneity and a freshness to the piece that can't be achieved otherwise. The painting is the product of that process.

Details of Artwork and Care

  • Sides All sides of the artwork are finished with a continuation of the front design or with a blended color to match. If interested in a piece, more photos can be provided by request.
  • Pre-fitted Because the sides are finished, the artwork is ready to hang upon arrival, without the addition of a frame. All artwork comes with professional quality fittings and wire attached.
  • Professional Grade Canvas Paintings arrive unframed. All canvases are professional grade quality, 100% cotton, acid free, stretched on kiln dried basswood and painted with high quality paints ensuring a quality archival product.
  • Paintings Wrapped and Stretched All sizes of paintings are wrapped and sent stretched. Paintings larger than 40 inches may be unstretched and shipped in a tube, upon consultation with the client.
  • UV Protective Varnish All paintings are finished with UV protectant varnish.
  • Shipping Costs Added At Checkout Shipping costs and handling costs are added to the purchase price of the art at checkout.
  • Lighting Changes Artwork In painting a piece, my signature style is how it will look in the changing lights of the day. Using metallic, fluorescent or iridescent highlights, produces effects that mimic the changing lights of the natural environment.
  • Signature All art is signed on the front unless otherwise indicated. Additionally paintings are signed, titled and dated on the back. Where the painting is not signed on the front, it allows hanging whichever view is preferred.
  • Cleaning Over time, if cleaning or dusting is necessary, using a slightly damp cloth or duster will not damage the painting.
